Size Question I was wondering if anyone had a guess on how big Taka will be full grown. He will be 8m on the 26th and is 5 lbs. The reason I'm asking is he still isn't big enough to jump on the couch or bed by himself so I was going to buy one or two of those stairs for dogs so he wont have any issues with this anymore. He cries at the end of the bed or at my feet when I'm on the couch and it breaks my heart poor little guy. Lily is only 6.5 lbs but she is also longer than him so she doesnt have a problem getting up and down things, never has. Any advice would be great! thanks. |

I’m not sure on how big he will be. For Peanut I think he stopped growing at a year- He is 4 pounds at age 6.. well will be 6 on the 25th. Peanut is still not big enough to jump off the couch or bed LOL. I have stairs for the bed ( CVS for $10) and I have a step stool for the couch. I’m going to buy the same set of stairs for the couch. I think the stairs are great to have if you have small dogs, even a 10 pound dog an jump off the bed wrong and break something.. it is better safe than sorry! Plus the stairs are so much better for their joints! :D |
Not sure, but Mandie was 5 lbs 2 oz at around the 8 month mark. She was exactly 6 lbs on her 1st birthday. She's been jumping up on our bed (well, we have it off the frames and on the floor but it's still "up") since she we got her at 4 1/2 months old. She's really athletic and freaks me out all the time. I just can't slow the girl down long enough to get her to use stairs. |

So from 5lb2oz to 6lb thats not much so I'll definitely get the stairs :D thank you very much! |
Stack pillows until the stairs arrive. We did this and it was perfect until we got our stairs. |
