My baby will keep his tail which I think is adorable too ;-) |

I always wondered too. To me it's cruel. I seen a video of it being done to puppies that were just born, but Idc who says that the pups can't feel it, those puppies cried! And it broke my heart. I prefer my yorkie w/a tail. It's so darn cute to see her get excited & her tail wag like crazy :D |
Victoria did an amazing job explaining. I, believe, if given the choice, I would not have docked Mandie's tail. It is so expressive as little as it is...I can just imagine what it would be saying if it was intact. I would love to see that. :) |
Oh yes they sure do let you know how excited they are by the tail, Molly uses hers the most out of mine to express herself, oh and when she's been naughty it almost disappears under normally it when she takes a toy from the others and she's been caught lol |
Is there any talk by the AKC about banning or changing the standards about tail docking? |
I'm not sure, hopefully more who are up on AKC will be able to tell you |
