Tough few weeks with Rylee......... First of all......I haven't visited YT in some time......long story short......new job and some health issues of my own. Now to get to the point.....we've had a horrible few weeks with Rylee's digestive issues......long story short again......after several vet visits including emergency and several tests later......all tests come back normal. Our vet says that she has anvery sensitive tummy and she is now on Hills prescription diet for gastrointestinal health. She isn't thrilled with the food.....she does it but rather grudgingly. I was wondering if anyone else has digestive issues with their little ones......what do you feed them fornthe occasional treat? Right one whe is on a pretty strict schedule........only a tablespoon full every few hours. She's hungry.......poor baby!!!! |

There are numerous people on here with this issue! They will be able to give you a wealth of information! Hang on, the calvery is coming!! |

I'm so sorry that Rylee's tummy is causing him problems. I'm just curious what kind of digestive issues he has? My little girl has tummy problems & I've been free feeding her & giving her very small meals about every 3 hours throughout the day. She eats regular food though - Royal Canin XSmall adult kibble & RC canned and/or Science Diet canned. I also added a probiotic to her diet - Purina FortiFlora. I give her a teaspoon of yogurt everyday at 3pm & feed human food treats like diced chicken, green beans, etc. Her feeding schedule & the probiotic have helped tremendously. But I'm not sure if her tummy issues are similar to Rylee's. She has intenstinal reflux & tends to vomit bile frequently when her tummy is empty. She also has a sensitive stomach & we have to be careful with introducing new foods. Regardless of the exact digestive issue, a probiotic should help somewhat. Good luck! I know how it feels when our little babies are not happy :( |

One more thing...I also had comprehensive testing done on Momo...BATS (liver), xrays in case of obstruction, thyroid, allergy testing, etc. Nothing "wrong" could be found. So I monitored her behavior & kept a journal so I could recall any signs or symptoms that I had overlooked. I've found that keeping a journal is a great tool for pinpointing a small detail that I may have overlooked. Good luck :) |

I sure hope Rylee gets better! I have no experience in this area but I'm sure fellow YT'ers will be great to help. Good luck to you guys! |
