Not one, but two! 1 Attachment(s) Well tis the season for critters!! :thumbdown. The girls and I went on our walk last week only to have Mr. Baby snake come out to say hi. I hate them! I was freaked out and took of my shoe and killed it! I beat it to death! Here he is. He's belly up. :D Attachment 386176 Then this weekend my husband calls me outside. He says "do you want me to kill this snake?" It was right by my house!! I told him yes! But he explained it was a King snake and it killed others so we should let it go. So I agreed. But made him move it away from my house! It was a lucky snake! Then today, I get a visit from Mr Tick. Mr. Tick decided it would be fun to drink my blood. :(. However, he is in tick heaven now. It's only May. Not looking forward to the other critters I'm sure I will see!! Just have to keep these girls safe! Hawks, owls, coyotes, snakes ..... Uuuuugggghhhhh |
You got a long summer creepy crawly season ahead of you. |

My GiGi found a dead baby snake the other day and was rolling all over it. Had to fight her to get her away from it. :) |

Oh I know exactly what you mean!!! We...when I say we, I mean my DH :D has seen 2 snakes already in the last couple of weeks. One came out from under the back deck when he was mowing  The dogs go out front but still!!! Jasper is only outside to go get his shots and never on the ground. We live on 5-1/2 acres. Four of which are wooded. We have pretty deer and birds. But then we have a hawk, red fox and somewhere close by we hear coyotes howling at night. I think the bugs are bigger out here too! :D Ahhhh the country life. |

Oh so the saga begins. . . I love hearing about your adventures with all the critters. Makes for a great caption this photo post .!! :D :p We rarely get any sort of critters or harmful wild life in or around our town but in Mondays paper there was an article about a coyote that was shot and killed by police. It was seen in the parking lot of a Mc Donalds in the middle of busy shopping area. It was put down when it charged the officer. Cyotes are very out of the ordinary her in our part of Ohio. There are no wild animals other than maybe a fox from time to time. |
You have to be extremely cautious with these critters, this weekind me and my family were out in the country for a mothers day celebration and I saw 2 snakes in the same hour. |
You are lucky with that snake... We saw two rattlers the other day while walking along the river. THOSE are deadly! I wish we just had worm-like snakes :p |
