Standing on her back legs, a lot!! Hi Everyone, I just wanted to ask if other Yorkie owners find their pups standing on their back legs, what seems like most of the time?? I really wonder about this because I don't think it's normal. If she wants attention, she's up on her back legs. If she wants to be picked up, the same thing. It's as if she's dancing and she can stay up like that for quite some time. Only other dogs I've seen do this were circus poodles! LOL What should I do?? |
Teach her to spin? :D I think it's not abnormal. Mandie stands up a lot. Well, not excessively, but she does...like to look out the window and stuff. |
Galen does it when he wants my attention or wants out of his expen. |

She's a strong girl. I would definitely teach her to spin if she's doing it in the middle of the floor. Maybe she thinks she's a person. :D |
I don't know why she might think she's a dog??? LOL |
Jess does that all the time...I call her Barishnakov! |
Jersey does this all the time as well....I think bc she sees us walking on two legs, she thinks she can as well! It is pretty funny to watch her do it! LOL! |
Piper does it all the time too. Usually wanting to be picked up. If Sam wants attention, he just jumps up on my back. If I'm sitting on the couch, he gets up on the back cushions and puts his front feet on my head. I swear he's half mountain goat. |
Sounds to me that she's trying to be like Mommy :D |
Louie does it all the time. I think it's adorable! Genea |
Jasper only runs and at one speed...high!!! It sounds cute her standing up like that. :) |
I keep thinking I should make her a tutu!! LOL |
standing up I think thats adorable. My littlecoco does the same thing! During playing time she does it and especially if she wants attention from people walking by:aimeeyork |
Amy does this also. She can walk a little distance and does remind me of a circus dog. First thing in the morning when she is let out of her crate, she is standing on her back legs and wants to be picked up. |
