Does this sound like a good deal? Hey! I need some input.. Well I might be on my way to getting my 1st yorkie! :jump28ib: But I was wondering if this sounds like a good deal: 1 1/2 year old male yorkie, limited AKC papers, housebroken, likes sleeping in bed, playful, about 4 lbs.,baby face. So what do u guys think???? :thumbs up :yorkiesar :teethysmi :yorkiesar |
Sounds good...have you called them yet? |
Yeah... actually my mom called for me...sounds perfect! :D ooohhh...I forgot he's $650 |
Make sure he doesn't have any health problems before you fall in love with him. Other than that it sounds good to me. Is he neutered? |
As far as his owner said,he has no health issues, I'm not actually sure if he's neutered or not, I don't think he is,though. :yorkiesar :happyboun :yorkiesar |

I totally agree. There are so many questions to ask about this little guy. Health, socialization, children involved if any, special needs, etc. ' Good luck and find out as much as you can about him. He just might be perfect for you or be a heartbreak. Patience and finding out all you can will let you know if your home is the best for him to be. Keep us posted. ;) |
Good luck...I hope all works out so you can get him! |
why is the owner selling him???? |

You need to know how he does with strangers, children, and other dogs. You don't want a dog who is going to be fear-aggressive. It is sooo hard to be objective when you think you've found the perfect dog. But as Schatzie said, without thorough research, you could be setting yourself up for heartbreak. |
Good luck...ask who the vet is...and call for a reference if possible... |

I agree with Villette. There are a lot of issues to be considered. I BET that there are house-training issues if he is intact..Bot Pat and I can tell you about those issues with intact males. Of course, that is NOT ALWAY the case but all too often it is. Then the new owner says "OMG, I cannot take one more baptism of my furniture!! What was I thinkin'?" and the boy needs to go to another home. Was the breeder his current owner? Did they keep him crated a lot or is he well-socialized and therefore, more receptive to training and a new home?? I am not saying not to get him if training is important, but I am advising that you learn all you can about dealing with an untrained adult male. Best of luck and let us know what you decide. And, any pics??? |
Wow..I'm getting very good responsse...those are all very good questions, I never even thought of asking, she really didn't "specify" a reason she was selling just, she can't keep him???<huh?....I will call again today. Thanx! Also she hasn't givin' me any pic.s, she just described him, and he sounds so cute! :aimeeyork kuhl :aimeeyork :yorkiesar :happyboun :yorkiesar |

Kuhl - You need to meet this little puppy and spend some time with him. My most important considerations would be if he's healthy, friendly, and playful. Good luck! Carol Jean |
