Does your Yorkie "tan"? Lately, Dino has gotten in the habit of sitting on the dinning room table chair which is next to a giant window every morning for about 3-4 hours. I have noticed his fur has gotten a little lighter too!! Anyone else's Yorkie enjoy "tanning"? |
lol yeah i actually noticed that keylos belly was a tanner color! they are doing the same but i think i need to get some sunblock for them. ;) |
Haha I wonder if they have invented Doggie Sunblock yet :D |
yes they do sell it. |
I wondered the same thing!!! I've been taking Grim out for walks more, where the weather is so much nicer, and I wondered to myself..will he tan or burn? LOL |
Lol I need to get doggy sunblock when I start taking them in the pool this summer!! |
LOL, Princess Sophie hasn't done this yet, we haven't had enough sun shine to her do it! LOL |
they like the warmth from the sun..:), my toy poodle "fights" with my cats to sit by the window with the most sun coming through it. |
Brody and Mia both love the sunbeam...and so do the kitties. :D |
Absolutely, both of mine sunbathe! |
When we go to the beach I put baby sunscreen on my furbabys' heads. I don't want their little scalps getting burned.:sun: |
When we had a boat, I used sunscreen on Huey's little noggin. I have never noticed him tanning, but the potential is there. I did have a pink-nosed lab mutt whose nose would turn black in the summer. :D |
My golden retriever,Leo, will follow the sun across the living room skylight. Also petsmart carries doggy sunscreen. |
We already have the AC on so Abby begs to go outside and lay in the sun on the warm patio stones.( Our windows are too tinted to get any sun inside) She is so warm and squishy when we pick her up we make a joke about her trying to "cook" herself:p. Her black back is getting more silver-y by the day. |
Yep. When the weathers nice I leave the back door open so they can go lay out on the patio. They'll lay in the sun for a while, then come back inside and after about 30 minutes they'll head back outside to "tan" again. |
