Are all Yorkies big babies? If the least little thing happens to Louie he comes running to me crying like he's dying. At first it scared me to death.. My Yorkie that died use to do the same thing. Ginger was the biggest baby. Loved her to pieces... I thought it was just her but now Louie does it too. Little stinkers lol Genea |
Bear is definitely a momma's boy, any little thing and he comes crying. Teddy on the other hand is very independent hardly ever fusses. |
Rubin is a Mama's boy check out this old story about him. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-hard-toe.html |
Pixie is like that and she is like that if we are in public she will run over to someone and then run back to me like is it ok Mom.....I think it's so cute:) |

chester is a mamas boy and I love it |
Joel doesn't really cry but if he thinks it's something important he'll run up and stare at me until I acknowledge him, like if the door bell rings or aunty comes he runs and puts his paws on me and just stares lol |
Georgie is the same way! He has even had my husband worried a couple times because he whines like he's in so much pain. He's our little furry baby boy:) |
mine is a rottie in yorkie fur, he puts up with nothing |
If I leave the room, Amy starts to cry. My husband is always telling me that he knows whose dog she is. When she wants picked up she starts to cry and then starts talking to me. It is so comical sometimes the noises she makes. |
My Milo is such a baby. Today my daughters friend and her yorkie came to visit. Milo played for about 5 min and then he came to me for me to pick him up. He didn't want down. Milo is almost 2 and her's is 6 months old. She was very hyper too. Milo was like leave me alone. Mommy save me. Lol he is such a mama's boy. :) |
I've recently gotten a new male puppy (Ichabod). He's the most pesky playful little guy I've ever raised. He follows My Adult Male Sneakers to learn how to hunt and protect, but, he relies on My Adult Female Becca to be his playmate. They play almost 24/7 and Ickey is growing like a weed, being over 7 pounds now, and is as rough and tumble as they get. Quite frequently, he'll get too rough with Becca, making her "yip" a little, and she's so compliant, that I'll step in and scold Ickey for biting in play too hard. Becca just LOVES me to do that, and wags her tail briskly when Ickey gets in trouble. I think I can even see a sly smile on her face as well. ;) |
I don't know about a baby but I have a drama queen. Destiny isn't a baby in most aspects but when I first come home she screams her little head off. It the most awful scream and if you heard it you would think someone was beating her to death as it is that bad. The first time I heard it I about had a heart attack because I thought she was dying. She only does it though when I first come home and it only lasts about 10 seconds. If I leave the room she is fine. I've always wanted to record it because I've truly never heard anything like it. It's not a bark, or yelp, it is a blood curling scream. She also did this when she was spayed last year. I took time off from work so I could be with her and as long as she was with me on my lap she was content but if I left her side for even a second the first two days she screamed her head off. Of course I felt bad so I ended up carrying her with me everywhere. Not exactly easy using the bathroom with a dog on your lap, lol. Teresa, I loved your story!! |
Apparently Wallee is even more of a baby than I suspected. I took him to daycare this week as I had a lot to do and with spring in the air, our 2 walks just weren't making him happy. I thought ok kill 3 birds with one stone. Give mommy time to work, give Wallee lots of outside time to play with friends and.....wear him out. I go to pick him up and one of the employees says "awww, my neck warmer is going home, he's such a sweetie". Puzzled I asked her, "neck warmer"? She smiles and says, "oh yeah, he is quite the cuddler". Omg......I can see it now, while I thought he was so busy playing, he was obviously sucking up for "pick me up" time a lot too... |

lol oh my gosh! this made me laugh so hard... Sounds like something I would do too.. So glad he was ok.. Thanks for the replies and cute stories everyone. Louie is definitely a Mama's boy too and I wouldn't have it any other way. Just wish he would stop scaring me ;) Oh and I love the story about Destinys screaming.. I have a screamer too. Our Mini Schnauzer does the same thing when my husband comes home from work. It's a terrible sound. lol Really does sound like someone is torturing her to death. She won't stop until Shane gets in the house.. Genea |
