The only time Joel is attached to me is when i'm not home but when I'm in the house he's not that clingy, he at least just wants to know where I am. He'll sleep by whoever has the the coziest blanket:) |
1 Attachment(s) Is this the kind of close you are referring to? LOL |
Minnie is very attached. Follows me to the bathroom, is my shadow, has to be in my neck shoulder area if I'm sitting or laying down it doesn't matter. And she is definitely a mama's girl but she also gets so excited to see my boyfriend when he comes home from work and other ppl she sees regular(My mom, siblings, best friend, nieces and nephews). I take her to work with me so she comes in contact with lots of ppl and hasn't met a stranger yet. Even when we take her to stores if someone so much as says "awww look at the cute puppy" she runs over to them as if they have called her name. So as attached as she is I feel she is very well socialized |
Yes, Tatiana is very attached to me, but she's also independent. Generally, she does follow me from room-to-room, and if she's not, she would check in with me from time to time. I could leave her at home with no problems. She's relaxed, and lays down on her bed. Sometimes, I leave her at home with my husband, and he says she's fine. I think this is because Tatiana grew up with her parents. I got her when she was three years old (from a breeder who has her own line of yorkies). Tatiana is completely secure, and has no separation anxiety. Nothing gets triggered when I leave. |

Maggie is very attached to her father. Before we moved to Texas, he lost his job in Nebraska and found a job in Texas. He was in Texas for 3 months while the rest of the family was in Nebraska selling the house and preparing to move. Maggie went into such a deep depression that she was a total mess. She was not at all like herself. She became very withdrawn, skittish, and would pee if at all startled. She didn't do any of the stuff she had done before. When we were reunited again, she was SO happy to be with her father again, but still has some minor issues that she never had before this happened. She will bite strangers and we have to be very careful with her when someone comes over. She even still tries to bite the neighbor kids that have been to our house 100s of times. Other than that, she is doing ok. These dogs get very attached to one person and sometimes it really affects them if something happens that separates them. |
