These are the people the airline has to keep track of pets, to keep pets safe and to act as liasons for the customers and pets??? They might need to rethink their hiring/training processes. If the "pet safe" people don't understand that to many people, our pets ARE our children, they are in the wrong line of work. Once this is over, I would write a strongly worded letter to the airline describing your experience and the utter lack of helpfulness as well as the outright rudeness of the petsafe people. I have never hung up on anyone, personal or business. That is unacceptable!

I have NEVER heard of a company person hanging up on a customer....one exception, the customer was cursing like a filthy mouthed maniac and the customer rep. just told him he was going to transfer the call to his supervisor because he was not going to be cursed at like that. I look back on how I acted in the airport when Continental lost my puppy, and I am actually amazed they did not have me arrested and forcably removed from the area! They were VERY, VERY tolerant and very helpful....there were all kinds of people on 3 different phones, calling all over, looking for that baby! And when I explaned about dropping blood sugar and seizures and death.....well they found that baby quickly....

The problem was she was forgotten in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Though she was checked in and cleared and told the breeder she was ok to fly and was taken back to be loaded on the plane they never actually placed her on the plane. By the time i raised a stink sitting in San Jose she was on a plane from Iowa to Denver but got diverted to Colorado Springs due to weather. But later got into Denver. My breeder has been on the phone with me and PetSafe as much as I have been. This is not on her at all. When we got the excuse yesterday that the lady who initially checked the puppy in was new and did not know all the proper procedures and time restriction they were on for live animals this was how she was forgotten, my breeder calld BS and said the shipping manager checked her in and went over all documents the cage her well being etc and took her back to stagging as she was ready for the flight. Mind you she was there 2 hours prior to flight leaving, no reason for her to have missed her flight or been forgotten.
