about lizards I got a question not to sure on where else to ask since the lady at the vet off wouldn't pass it on to the DR. for some reason. and we tryed to look it up but we couldn't get answer to it. does anyone know if lizards are toxic to little yorkies. and too if u know how to find it and how to get it out of the house that would be a big help too. it move so fast and goes under things where we can't see it. |
I don't think so |
thanks for the help |
There are some that are....is this just one of those common green-change-color-to-brown lizards?....I cant spell "cameleon"....those are NOT toxic...neither are the little brown gecko looking ones....they have some in Florida that can be toxic, I think I have heard people say. |
There are some that are toxic but i have no idea which ones. |
it is a little one. that just run from us more then anything. it might have been brown or dark green but the light where I saw it at was kind of dark. but when we did call other vet they said it wouldn't hurt her. I just hope. we haven't seen it since that fine. she not down on the floor she more up on the beds or in our arams. |

LOL Hopefully your little friend leaves soon!! We had a Alligator lizard in our house, I had to chase him out of the door! LOL |
We had a lizard in our house last summer..it was blue. Don't know what kind it was. It vanished for about a week and then I heard my big boy causing a comotion one day. Out came that lizard and my boy chasing it. By the time I got to the bedroom, I saw a TAIL just wiggling on the floor..the lizard was no where to be seen. ICK!! A week later...here he comes with it in his mouth. Anyway, you are right...they are FAST!!! |

I don't want Fancy to get a hold of it. since we don't know if they would hurt her or not. and the vet that we go to we called them. but the lady that answer the phone didn't know and she wouldn't get her butt up and go ask the DR. or one of the other workers. That piss both of us off. so we had to call my aunt to see what the vet that she took her late cat to. and when we did call they went to ask the DR. and they said it wouldn't hurt her and that did make us happy. but Fancy is way to tired to go after anything or to do anything for that matter. We did go for other walk today. she did some walking and I carriered her most of the time. it seem I did all the walking. but I don't mind carriering her. it does give us sometime together. if we don't have some other dogs come around. but I picked her up. one just jumped up on my leg trying to get up to her but he couldn't. but I don't think Fancy minding to much. |
Yes, we got it out...after my big boy had it in his mouth, I was able to get it from him. It was dead by then. I think I would talk to my vet about his office staff's poor customer service. |
