Patti...you are so sweet to start this thread about my little Libby Rae of Sunshine.
Libby came to me a couple of months after I'd lost my dear Mom to cancer. I knew I was going to get another yorkie, but the breeder I got Libby from had all boys. I already had the name...Libby Lu, but the day before my Mom died, I told her I will be naming my new baby Libby Rae. Rae was my Mom's middle name. I still miss her every day and wish I had her here to talk to. She always made me feel better.
So, I was lucky having a friend on the hunt for my little Libby. Libby came from Yorkiegirl2 in Missouri. My nephew flew there to get her for me. When she came into our lives, my sister added the "of Sunshine" to her name because up till then, we hadn't been able to smile with the loss of our Mom. Who cannot smile at a darling little yorkie?
Libby Rae of Sunshine is my little bubble popper, snowflake chaser, frisbee retriever, balloon bopper and is the happiest little puppy I have ever known. In the mornings, she is wagging her tail nonstop and saying good morning to me. She can play nonstop...she just goes and goes and goes. She made up a little game of her own. Whenever I am folding clothes, she comes with a toy and drops in the basket...I throw it for her and back she comes and drops it in the basket again. How I love and adore my Libby Rae of Sunshine. It breaks my heart that she is now so ill.
