Vet even recommended canine antianxiety meds for him. I switched to a new vet and now Kaji whines and yells like a monkey to get to her. He always wants to give the new vet kisses!!!

Tibbe really can stare when he has questions and he likely well-remembered I had taken him to the vet and left him there, he went into a scary room with masked, scary-looking people and scary things in it and had shaving, needles, woke up in a cage with a lot of dogs barking and people coming and going and no Mommie and besides, he was hurting now and feeling funny in his head. Then I got him, brought him home, stuffed a pill down his throat and wouldn't let him jump anymore.
He wanted a reason for why all of this happened. I swear he did. He'd had a pain pill an hour before he did that so I doubt he was trying to tell me he hurt - I think he thought I had some 'splainin' to do to him. I tried. He stood there. Later I got him up and kissed and loved him and within a day we were back being best buds. |
