Update - Okay, had the furniture delivered yesterday morning. Set it up last night. Hubby griped about that it looked good but was uncomfortable. I disagreed. Then, after getting up with a back ache after laying and watching tv, I agreed. LOL

The rug I got ended up being for my entertainment and will be going back, also. I put it down last night and Shelby-Dale will walk all the way around it - like he doesn't think he's supposed to step on it. And, then Mandie started wallowing in it. Had a good ole time. Cracked me up. She was rubbing her face and her side and her back and scooting her body backwards. Too cute. Then I realized that she thought it was a big patch of indoor grass. Why? Because I look down and she's squating under the coffee table and PEEING! Arg! Good thing I could immediately get my Nature's Miracle out and fix that goof. Anyway, the rug comes up tonight and the movers come back and get the rug, couch, and loveseat on Saturday. I'm keeping the tables and lamps.

Never fear. I found a couch with a built in chaise/love seat that I like sooo much better. It's super comfy - trust me - I'm not making that mistake again. I am putting money down to hold it and will pick it up in 2 weeks :D Oh, also, it is red which I was wanting anyway because the accent trim on my 1960's house is red. Yay.

After all this furniture shopping, Thuy...I could never afford a plane ticket to Dallas. LOL!

Hmm, that might be doable. I will look into it ;)

Sorry, you are having a tough time..... I'm sure your old couch is comfortable though :(

BTW, Terri... I know its early... but
I plan on bringing stuff for both us and the furkids.
