To micro- chip or not. This is a hot topic like others that have an emotional component. It will take several generations to get used to the idea of chipping people, then it will become acceptable to the majority of people. ( I am thinking when people stop following God's rules and make their own rules things quickly change.) In two generations divorce was not only ok, but is now the norm. Having a child without marriage is now as common, as married people having a child. In two generations abortion was accepted, in two generations being gay was ok, in now it is ok in the military, and people are moving toward gay marriage. It all started with 'do your own thing' I am not judging here. Just giving very old arguments that what the majority thinks is morally ok, society pays for. (Added expense of welfare, wick, medicare and so on) I just read about a group of people who want child molesters and people convicted of a serious crime to to be gps chipped. Many of us are nodding, um... that may be a good idea. Good ideas can grow up to be monsters if we aren't careful. Here comes Big Government I hear the foot steps crushing freedom. Yes, I want all my Yorkies micro chipped. People ? No chip for me. |

With the advent of electronical medical records, the ONLY people HIPPA keeps from getting your medical records/profiles, is your family members, and the people sitting with you in the waiting room of the docs office! Doctors are, as we speak, entering your medical information into a government data base at the end of the day or week.....your meds, what you currently take, what you have been prescribed that day, your vital signs, progress notes, medical history, etc. That data base is easily accessed by any entity that can use the information, like insurance companies, licensing intities, other hospitals,, etc. This sharing of eletronic medical records was in response to Hurricane Katrina, where every veteran in any area that was affected by the hurricane, all their medical records were electronically transmitted and accessable to any VA hospital in the country....any veteran that was displaced to any other part of the country, anyplace, did not lose one single note of their medical history....their care could be continued without a drop in step....absolutely NOTHING was lost! The VA was the ONLY system set up like this.....and now, they are working to get it established throughout the medical community. It also cuts out "doctor shopping" where patients go from one doc to another to another to load up on huge amounts of prescriptions. HIPPA offers no protection except if your family or next door neighbor wants information.... |

The people behind this couldn't care less about your chosen religious denomination. They don't even care about your moral standards period. Religion and the idea of organized religion is being disbanded. Look how often it is degraded and joked about. Our generation may see it, but we will be too old to do anything. We will be the Alzeihmers patients with chips to keep us "safe". |
