Very sad that someone would even think to this..............! |
wow..................so unreal. |
I never heard of such a thing in my life, thats just ridiculous ! |
Thank God you told her and also tried to educate her. I think someone just wanted to make some money and what an awful way to do it. Some people wil just sell their puppies for the money and do not care what kind of homes they get. Bless you. Susan |
My friends school had an auction and one of the prizes was a Great Dane puppy. One of the people there won the dog for her. This poor dog had so many health problems and passed on before it was 18months old. She did everything she could for her baby. This puppy broke her heart. |
:eek::eek: What words fit this request...I mean, that you can say in front of children, of course!:eek::eek: I suppose it's great that she called you, so you could try to explain WHY this is NOT a good idea...sadly, she'll probably just dial the next number on her list. I actually have seen advertisement of other charitable events where dogs/puppies were raffled off based on entry tickets sold...and wondered what happened...and/or what the winner would do...if they didn't want the dog. These were very 'ritzy' events, but 'money' does NOT equal love or caring, IMHO. Each of my Yorkies and my kitties is a huge prize, but it is their :2hearts2: hearts :2hearts2: that I've won! {{{Hugs}}}...what a stressful phone call...{{{more hugs}}} |
Somehow, I'm not really that suprised. People will do so many crazy things for the love of money. It's so very sad for the creatures involved! Kudos to you for trying Judy. |
Wow! That's awful! |
