I just have to vent!

im pretty sure many of you are also on facebook groups for yorkies or animal groups. well im on a few and for the past year I have been on one everydaying talking and meeting new friends well 2 nights ago a person I have met through fb go on the group and told everyone about a "rescue" she did involving a yorkie her story is this

I was on my way inside walmart and outside stood a boy with a yorkie in the raining trying to sell the yorkie he was in bad shape so I paid the 350 and took him home. she then went on to say she was taking him to the weight the next day and would let is know.

well yesterday she got on and said he is healthy and only needs eye drops as he has bad eyes. and goes on to say she is rehoming him for 175 when asked how much he weights she couldn't answer she said she thinks 10 pounds, when asked how much his eyedrops were she said she was giving him the ones people buy. (crazy right?)

well today I was on www.KSL.com and found an ad that looked just like the yorkie and it stated he was FREE. I contacted the seller and confirmed that the women im talking about was her that picked him up at a house. the only reason for rehoming was his mother could no longer care for him.

I confronted her and she said I got scammed because that person is a liar and all yorkie MIXES are the same. and that she is no longer rehoming him as she found out today he has kennel cough and wont rehome him.

(mind you she is a breeder and has a 4 week old puppy in her home)

im sorry but I am so upset! idk what to do anymore. talking to the son who had to rehome him he was really upset and when he told his mother and she talked to me she was crying. :( this makes me feel like crap. I just hope he gets a great home. :(

It's a huge scam on craigslist...people snapping up free dogs claiming they'll give them a great home & then turning around & selling them :(

If you ever want to rehome your dogs, always put a price on them (even a small one) it deters people that use them for animal testing etc.

I hope too they find a furever home. and recovers from the kennel cough.

It's a horrible thing the scammers on cl. I pray that baby finds his way to a home who's interest is him and not money.

It's sad and upsetting

People don't even surprise me anymore....Its so sad that people are so willing to make a quick buck that they r using these poor innocent puppies/dogs to accomplish it.
