about paws we been seening that she been licking on her paws a lot more. and they had them cut last month few time. since they seem not to be that short from the frist time when they cut them and they seem to look short but everything seem to grow really fast last month on her. we did check to make sure that there was no cuts or anything wrong with her paws. but we just don't know what else it could be. so I thought that I would come on here and see if u all have any ideals on what it could be before we send a mgs to the vet and see what they say. but I know what they are going to say have her come in and we take a look at them. the only thing that I could think of it could be the weather could that make them itch or something like that. I know it change our skin. so could that be in dogs too. thanks for the help. |
Hi! Have you changed her food? I recall seeing somewhere that sometimes a food allergy can cause them to have itchy paws. Poor baby.... Hopefully a more experienced YTer can offer a little more help! |
I never really thought about the food. and too I wouldn't think it would be her food since she been eatting the samething for months now. but still that is something to look into. |
just as we can develop allergies so to can pups, could be an environmental allergy....dry skin can also make them itch...try some coconut oil...that may relieve the itch. I add one teaspoon to their food about twice a week, you can also rub it on their skin, or in your case on her paws. That may offer her some relief...poor baby. |
Dogs will lick there paws because of allergies and sometimes because of anxiety. |

I didn't know that they would do it for anxiety. I know they can get sick from anxiety or that what we think it could be. but could she do it if she get hot. |

Eating These Foods Can Cause Dog Yeast Infection My vet also said there's some dogs who like to lick their paws, just like sucking thumb loll! OCD. |

The thing is that if your puppy is licking it's paws, it can create a "hot" spot that turns into a sore. We had a mixed breed that got a mosquito bite on her foot and it turned into a hot spot. They hate those cones you know. LOL Just be aware. |
