So many yorkie's on atlantapetrescue.org. So sad. There are a lot of Yorkie "blends" and some who look as though they are all yorkie. So sad. Some do not look healthy, but with a good home, prayerfully they will ok. I wish I could help all of them! I'm going to ask SophieKate's mom if there was a puppy mill raid, or something. She volunteers there. |
Oh I hope they all find loving furever homes! I am in love with Nacho and the Pom/mix, Brie. Geesh..now I'll be dreaming of them all tonight. I wish I had unlimited resources so I could help and get one or two..or three..or... |
Oh my goodness!!! So many little babies and adults needing homes.. Clementine is such a pretty little puppy, and Duncan is extremely handsome!! And Nacho was pretty cute, too. just to name off a few of the pups and dogs that I saw. Hopefully someone takes them home soon!! They were all so adorable! Even the ones that didn't look like they had any yorkie in them at all. If we lived close enough to travel there I know my little sister would want to adopt Oyster. She has been wanting an Italian Greyhound for a very long time now. |

and the yorkie is getting adopted too.:) |
All of the Yorkies are spoken for with the exception Duncan who will go this week for sure. We have a waitlist policy where the adoption is pending until we Spay/Neuter. Clementine is one of the Yorkie babies who was nursed by a Doxie (Wendy). "The Mill Kids" as they are called are mostly Shih Tzu and Poodles, they're are going really fast. As far as mills dogs they were in rough shape but not the worst we have seen (no missing eyes, no Heartworms). The team of volunteers who work on socialization have been in there a lot and the kids are really coming around. I love Meg and Rusty, both mill dogs. |
Oyster just came in today, he was abandon at an apartment complex. He is a sweet little puppy, when I left tonight he was in a puppy pen with Tiny and they were having a wrestling match. |
