3 wheel or 4 wheel stroller? I'm finally going to order me a stroller! I'm not sure on a 3 wheels or 4 wheels. I like the way the 3 wheels look. I really want a zebra one but I'm sure the hubs would appreciate something more neutral. So, 3 wheels or 4 wheels? |
I have had both and really like 4 wheels better. Maybe try out a baby stroller at the store with each and see which one feels better for you. |
Thanks, never thought of that! Welcome back :) |

1 Attachment(s) I like the 4 wheel stroller, Yazmin has the Zebra design. :) |
Her stroller is so cute. So, you would prefer a 4 wheel over 3? |

I have a 3 wheel and can say that the next one will be a 4 wheel. I usually have more than one dog in the stroller and I think that the 4wheel would be more stable. There are also cup holders and a little compartment to put treats in. Mine are alwasy tethered in,just like the car so they cannt jump out and noone can just pick them up. Ours is orange/leopard and my DH doesnt care,he will even push it. |
I had a 4 wheel and switched to a larger 3 wheel. It has an awesome shock absorber, large inflatable tires. It's stable like a child's jogging stroller, has a storage area under, cup holders, 3 security inside straps, mesh convertible hood, breaks, and is a dream to use, even over rough areas. It's also larger than the 4 wheel, and holds 3 comfortably. |
1 Attachment(s) I have a 3 wheel and love it. It maneuvers well on smooth pavement as well as rough terrain. I had a friend try mine & then she bought a 4 wheel one & regretted it....might have had more to do the with quality of it though than the number of wheels. Mine holds two easily and is very stable....never had an kind of tippy issue with it. Here's a pic of ZoE in her stroller with her friend Lola (DBlain here on YT is Lola's mom). |

Yeah, I would love to know brands. I will be using for 7.5 lbs & 4lbs so 2 dogs. |
I have two three wheels. Both are like a jogging stroller.. with big inflatable tires. One is the new dogger stroller .. Lisa is the one who talked me into that one! I also have a purple petgear .. would like to sell just because I really don't need two..but it would have to be local!! so.... I like the three wheel, I like that I can go over all types of terrain. Both of mine have cup holders and all, they are nice looking but not flashy. They both are of good quality... the dogger is over $200.00 and the petgear was a bit less. |

I have a 4 wheel and I loooooooove it!! It looks like Katie Scarlett’s but it is green camo! I take Peanut everywhere in that thing too! The mall, Walmart, CVS, Home Depot- you name it Peanut has been!! I also throw a blanket over the top of it and you can’t tell if it is a human stroller or dog stroller!! I would def recommend the 4 wheel!! The place I bought mine- it was pretty cheap too!! ![]() |
Having seen and tried several strollers here is my take, don't buy a three wheel stroller unless you buy one of the better brands. Before buying a stroller think about how you will use it. I have the one that Aymee and Yazmine have and I even bought a second one to keep in NY, but this model is an economy stroller I believe it cost around $60.00 with shipping. I did not buy it to go on long walks, I bought it mostly as storage on wheels for pet events and places I want to get Lola off the ground and safe. We do walk with it but not a lot. My friend bought that stroller with three wheels and was unhappy with it, she said it does not maneuver well. If you plan to walk with it a lot spend a bit more money and get something like Kazzy has, you can see the difference, hers is much better made, more sturdy and steers better. But it comes at a price as it was at least twice what I spent. If you live in a city or feel you will need to maneuver in tight spaces, go up and down curbs, go over bumps or tree roots I think the 3 wheel model would be easier to use. |

I agree, you get what you pay for. If you don't use much the quality is not important...but if you use a lot get the best you can afford. Getting a better quality if you need and/or use a lot will cost you less in the long run. The same is true for most of the stuff we buy for our kids as well as our pups. |

The stroller is a Best Pet and if I can figure out this new hp with windows 8, I'll post pictures of it. |

That Stroller's darling! ;) I'd love to see a photo of Peanut in the Camouflage. :) I've thrown a blanket over Yazmin's stroller and have taken her in a few stores also. On one occasion two ladies approached me and one said in a whispering voice, "What a cute stroller, I've never seen one like that before, can we see the baby?" I pulled a little of the blanket back so the could look down through the top. They both had a shocked look on theirs faces when they realized it was a dog but giggled and said "Now that's what I'd call a really a cute baby" :D I love animal print and plan on getting a Leopard Stroller also. After reading so many positive opinions from those who have the 3 wheel strollers, I'll strongly consider this option also. |
Now... I'm just confused. Maybe I need one of each :) LOL |

I love the animal print too, however DH and I had to agree on the stroller- so Camo it was! DH said if I had gotten zebra or anything other than Camo he would never push it!! Haha Now having the Camo, I really like it- it fits Peanut pretty well!! I get so many complements on it too! That story happened to me too!! HAHA I love seeing their faces when they look and it’s a Yorkie! LOL I love this stroller- it is such a good design, I think I only paid $ 50… could have even been cheaper than that, the quality is great I have used the crap out of it and it still looks bran new, it is easy to maneuver, the wheels never stick or anything- I just love it! Super happy that I bought it. I attached some pics! Peanut loves his stroller! The last one is him just hanging out- he loves his little windows!! He loves going places with me, and now that I have had it there is no place I can’t take him. The only place I don’t take him is when I go to the grocery store, other than that he is always with me! |

How many dogs will you be carrying, and how heavy are they. The weight limits of different strollers might narrow it down for you too. Also the interior dimensions could be a factor. ZoE is a big yorkie and when she lays down she stretches out rather than curls in a ball, so I wanted it long enough inside for her to stretch out in. Then, what kind of space do you have to haul the stroller? I drive a Mustang, so my trunk is itty bitty, and awkward as heck to get anything large into, so the dimensions of the folded stroller were a concern for me. |
