I took Roxie to get her second round of boosters that she needed when in walks a lady with a dog she found running around. Needless to say they were going to drop it at our over crowded shelter so being the person I am, volunteered to foster this sweet girl till we exhausted every effort to find her owners. Just so happened she looks like a pure bred Silky. She has a little skin issue (thin hair) and i'm worried that she might need meds or a special diet. Vet said she is not microchipped but I will call Humane Society to put in a bulletin about her in case someone calls there. So far we are calling her "Sweetie". Ahi and Roxie get along great with her.

She is adorable. And if her owner is not found what's one more :). You just made a great decision for this little one. Even if you can not keep her you will help find her a wonderful home I am sure of that. Keep us updated. And do share lots of pictures of your 3 pack :)

Thank you. But I truly want to find her owners. She has a collar but no tag. I know someone(s) has to be missing her. She is either sitting in someones lap or wandering around the house with a look of where is my mama. :(

Roni!! Sweetie is so lucky you were there for her! If you can't find her family, I know she will be loved by you her entire life!! Please keep us updated on how things go! Her face stole my heart! :)

Roni what a little doll!! I pray you find her family and thank goodness you were there when she was brought in to the vets..can you say FATE!!

Oh, she's precious! And what a lucky girl to have you helping to hopefully find her mommie and foster her. Silkies are so sweet and special. Thank you for taking her and giving this poor little girl a good home as the search goes on.
