LOL! Lahja gets upset with me when I sing and dance for her! Then she pees wherever she is! I did't think that my singing and dancing is that bad, but now will stop doing that and maybe she won't pee everywhere!

LOL! Mine pees when she's excited but it happens a lot less the older she gets. Too funny about your singing and dancing. Maybe just dance "less" but keep on singing! As she grows, your dancing can take on bigger movements hehe

It sounds like it could be what is called "submissive urination". Here is a link to an article about it and you can google the term to read more articles and info. If it keeps up as the dog grows or begins to happen during other periods of excitement or anxiety, I would start to correct it early before the dog becomes habituated to doing it.

Most dogs won't urinate when seated or lying down so if you teach your little one to sit or lie down before you are going to do something potentially exciting or scary, it can help. It's not a cure all but it helps. Then, working to build up the dog's sense of worth and self-confidence with good behavior reshaping through positive reward obedience training can give your dog a good sense of achievement and confidence. But keep your training sessions upbeat/fun, short, repetitive and very rewarding for the dog - praising for doing it right and a little treat, big smile. Dog Submissive Urination

Just wanted to say that there is something called Excitement Urination.

You didn't ask for advice, so I share a quick story. Rubin barks when I sing or dance. But if I pick him up and dance with him, he is in heaven. The singing is ok too, if he is on my lap in the rocking chair.

Oh, my Tibbe used to LOVE to dance with me and would just skip and run through my lets, dance on his own hind feet and jump and frolic whenever I would dance around, especially if there was a really good, fast beat and he'd be doglaughing and just dancing his heart out. But once I stepped on a bit of his toe(I was wearing socks, no shoes & thankfully he wasn't hurt) and since that time, he is not so nearly into dancing with mommie but he still does try to join in, just not with such abandon as he used to do. And he LOVES for me to sing to him.
