Wow, that is great. I still haven mastered it and can't change my picture under my name. I have tried at least a dozen times. :)

Are you sure your not changing your profile picture instead of your avatar. The avatar is the picture under your name, the profile picture is the picture on your profile page. Do you have a photo editing software, a computer usually comes with something, but there are many free ones available too. You would use the feature called "rotate."

OH... I know how to edit picures on my computer and on my phone.... but for some reason when I upload them they turn on their side... ?
It doesn't appear that there is a way to edit them after they've uploaded.

I had download a program on my IPad to resize my pics and then I was able to post my pics.

It happens on your computer too, I can understand why it's happening on your phone, but I don't know why it would happen on your computer. Another option is using a photo hosting site like photobucket, you can upload them there and then if they turn to their side you can rotate them. On the "manage attachments" menu, it give you an option to upload something from a "direct link" and you would paste the address of the picture in the direct link box and it would show up on YT as a picture and not a link.

Heehaw....sounds like me! Glad you got the hang of it.....I use Picmonkey to resize and edit my photos. It is a free online photo editing program and very easy to use! Especially for people like me who are technically challenged!

Ah... that's a bit complicated i think... lol.. I think it only happened when I uploaded it from my phone... sometimes it loads correctly and sometimes it turns... the pictures are still viewable I guess... Just tilt your head to the left! lol

I use photo pad by zaggskin, a free app on iPad. It is extremely easy.

Yeah the phone views the pictures differently, if it sometimes does correctly on your phone, it could be because you are taking a tall picture instead of a wide picture. Maybe your phone has an option?

I have an iPhone 4... It does all the switching automatically ehen you take a puc and The pictures all look right to me so I'm not sure... I've decided it's a pain to do it on the pc and the pics end up grainy.

I don't know what I do wrong, but I still can't do it and I don't know how to resize. My ganddaughter did this old one. :)

Lol, you are so smart, I can't believe you can't figure it out. Do you know how to upload pictures to a thread? I could resize them for you.

I see you have an album with so many beautiful pictures. I could make an avatar out of the pictures in your album. Let me know if you have favorites, there are so many to choose from.
