Rehoming... I was on craigslist and I was just so so sad to see how easy it is for people to rehome a pup because of the "I'm having a baby" reason or "No time" crap. I NEVER post anything of my opinion there...but I just couldn't ignore it anymore. So I just asked a simple question.... Rehoming Reasons... Thanks for listening...just had to vent a little. :) |
You said pretty much what I think. Six kids and at that time six dogs...so time..maybe reevaluate how it is spent. Oh and I sew all of the time, cook, clean and all of my kids have been homeschooled. NO again NO I am not super mom,not even close,I do know some. Just careful with time cause you cannt get it back. |
It is very sad. I saw this and was like no she is not rehoming her new silky lol glad that's not the case I don't understand either |

There is no shame to rehoming if the dog owner has explored every other possibility and rehoming is the only thing that is going to rectify the situation. Problem with it is for many it is the first consideration as they view dogs as disposable rather than a cherished family member |

I know a few military families who get a dog(terrier) while living off base knowing they will be moving on base where these breeds are not allowed. I see it would be okay if they were fostering but to just give them up like that? *sigh* sorry..sorry....I think i'm just tired. LOL |
My heart dropped! Whew...thought you were rehoming Roxie....so glad not the case!!!! |
