What a dog!
 

A couple of weeks ago I answered a craigslist ad for a yorkie mix, female 8 months old and not fixed for FREE!
Being that I have worked inrescue and knowing all the horrible things I know of what becomes of FREE pets I asked my DH if I could save this little soul. He said yes but... you can not keep her. I agreed being I have many already. I made many calls to friends that were in the market for a little dog and my rescue coordinatopr and asked if I can not find her home can the rescue accept her? Our rescue as many others are so full that it is difficult to find fosters. Anyways I spoke to the lady and she agreed for me to take her. as a matter of fact she begged my to take her. I said yes. After a tearful goodbye we were on our way. AS we entered the freeway my DH said he wanted to keep her. He was so taken by her as she reminded him of his childhood dog and he felt she would make a wonderful therapy dog for my work. Well "GOD" works in mystries ways. You see my DH father passed in sept and we have been doing alot of reminiscing and many of those memories included his childhood dog. This little girl has helped to mend his heart just a bit and she will make for a terrrific therapy dog. She is in training to work with medically fragile children. Thank you God for giving me such a blessing!:D
