**MUST READ Blogs** from a potential new vet for my Girls I am so impressed with the research I've been doing on this vet clinic. Please read these blogs and tell me if you are as impressed as I am with the sheer brilliance of their methodology!! This sounds very nice, like they take a real personal interest in your pet to get to know about them in each individual way |
I like the approach and attitude. Now if he knows as much about vet medicine as he seems to know about dog and human behaviors, you likely have a good condidate. Only time and how he behaves under pressure, at 2:00 a.m. or in an emergency will tell for sure. |

I'm excited to see if all the hype is true. Same location over 20 years I believe. I heard the facility itself is bare bones as far as decor (which I'm fine with) but his expertise is supposed to be top notch. My current animal hospital is closer to me and would be used for the 2am visits most likely. |
I am in North Port Florida, and it sounds like the kind of place I have been looking for. Spend 7 months in Florida and 5 months in Michigan. Thanks SugarMaMa |

North Port isnt *that* far of a drive for you for a quality vet, if this is in fact what Dr Gary turns out to be :thumbup: |
sounds like a awesome vet |

South East corner of the Great State of Michigan. Monroe County, I live on the shores of Lake Erie. Your right, Sarasota is only about 40 minute drive north for me. Would keep local vet for Emergency like you suggested. Actually my Vet I use in Michigan is in Toledo Ohio as it is closer to me than the City of Monroe. |
I like having more than one vet to call on so it can't hurt to try this guy and see what you think. |

I personally think it's brilliant to take a dog on a "personality" walk prior to any in office exams to get aquatinted. they also gather Urine and stool samples and access their gait and emotional traits and anxiety issues outside in natural sunlight (and away from Mom or Dad) where less is hidden. |

I know my Vet is doing Vac's every 3 years. |

Oh I am so jealous that you have access to a vet like this!! I like my vet now..switched to him from my original vet. We don't have a lot around this area that are super knowledgeable on small breeds..just over all dog care. I could probably find one I was 100% in love with if I drove to Auburn, where the Vet School is...still might research that. Anyway, I would totally check this Dr. Dolittle out!! :) |

It sounds so.....logical!!!!! |
You are so lucky to have other options to choose from and this vet sounds amazing!! I would for sure make an appt and let him check out the girls. |
Wow, sounds incredible...I don't think your average vet would put as much into what they do as he does, he obviously loves the animals...I wouldn't hesitate here at all, with this one and your brilliant mommyness you will have it made! Keep us posted! |
Loved the links.. And on the second one, I saw fat yorkie butt that I just wanted to reach through my screen and scritch a rump(TM). |
