I first like to say, have really enjoyed YT. I learned a lot reading all the forms and been amazed by all the Yorkie lovers. We have had our Yorkie "Sparkle" for two years now. I have been looking for another Yorkie for Sparkle and my wife for a Valentines present. The breeder I purchased Sparkle from does not bread anymore, so I am very unsure who to purchase one from now. [Yes, I checked with YTCA breeders and they have no puppies for sale at this time.] I found this breeder, www.yorkieshowdogs.com in Oklahoma. She was very pleasant on the phone. She does have a female Yorkie that is 5 months old that weights about 3 1/2lbs. She does have other Yorke's that weigh more. I am planning to go this weekend to take a look at her Yorkie s. I am not able to find anything about this breeder on YT. Does anyone know or have any information on this breeder?
This adventure is more important to me than ever at this time. We took in a wild cat a few years back, "momma kitty" that was going to be euthanized. Yes the cat and Sparkle get along. [She even goes outside, through the doggie door to potty. :) ] We also had an Asa Lopsa that we took from an abusive home years ago. [Her name is “Amber”.] She passed away today in my wife's arms. [Very sad Valentine’s Day. She was very old, but had a good life.]
Any information would greatly be appreciated. I would really like to purchase a puppy this weekend if possible.

I am sorry for the loss of Amber. If you go to the search tab and put in Glenda Beavers you will find some reviews on her. Good luck in your search.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Like Patti said, there are some members here who've had interactions w/ Glenda Beavers. She definitely has beautiful dogs, that's for sure. I believe a few people had less-than-positive interactions with her, but others rave about her.

I hope you find the perfect yorkie for your home, and please keep us posted.

I'm not in the market for another dog, but I love to look at photos, so I went to that website. OMG, that little boy with the eyebrows is adorable!!!! (Born oct 13). Those eyebrows ...:love::love::love:

I agree, I think she has very nice looking Yorkies.

My wife likes the look of the boy as well.

We are making a trip to see her tomorrow morning. We are excited and we all really need this addition.

She was nice, but there were reasons why we did not purchase a puppy from her. I would prefer not to post the reasons on this thread. If interested in the reasons please PM me.

I see. Yes, there are various reasons to buy or not buy a breeder..not just being nice. I get that.

Have you been looking at any possible others? This is such an exciting and trying time all at once..the hunt for the right one. Enjoy it and try not to lose patience. It's a journey worth taking :)

Yes, we do have another person we are working with for a Yorkie puppy. In fact it is the same person we got Sparkle from. [She told me, when we got Sparkle, she was not going to have any more litters. We were very happy to hear she is going to have another litter.] She told me, they were only going to have one litter a year. They are raised in their house as part of their family, in fact they have their own play room.

Wade, this just sounds so encouraging. I so hope you can get one of her dogs. She sounds like a kind person and good with her dogs, wanting them to have a good life. I'd love to see a picture of the pup you are thinking of choosing when the breeder will let you go see the litter.

March the 23rd is her due date. Hopefully we can arrange to have a first see shortly after.
