Changing colors! Little Taylah is changing into more colors! I noticed today while brushing her.. her face around her nose is turning into a light tan/blondish color, and on top of her head its more so staying like a light gray color, and on her chest she is gray mixed with light tan/blonde... and her back is black of course and her legs are a dark tan.. She's soo beautiful! I have to take some close-ups of her while she's in this stage and show yall! ;) |
Isn't it fun to watch them change? Then again, you want them to hurry up and change so you can see what they're going to look like. :rolleyes: I leave Kacee's hair long and right now her back is like three colors! :D The roots are a really dark gray, then the middle is like a silver, but the ends are black! :D |
Yorkies are almost like peacocks - they really change and have the prettiest colors all over their little bodies - I'd love to see pictures - go get that camera !! |
I know what you mean I cant wait to find out what color or what they will look like. But I dont want to rush them into growing up either. |

The adult dog in the 1st pic is the litter's aunt, very tiny dog, fully grown and only only 2.4 pounds. It has a little coming up soon, dad weighs 3.6 and mom 2.4 pounds. |

Yorkies are so fun.... You wouldnt think so because most of the time they are born a flat black and tan......boring right?!! No! I call them rainbow dogs.....because for their life their colors vary. WIll they be black/tan? Blue/gold? silver/ tan? Year one, year two, year three... mid age, older........it changes. Usually the color being darker at a young age, big change at teenage, pretty stable at middle yrs then lighter again. Old saying but changed to fit yorkies "yorkies are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!" Thanks for the pictures. |

The way I am reading it is pics of her dog she bought from the breeder. But if I'm wrong... Whoever the breeder is - SHAME for breeding from a mother only 2.4 pounds!! Simply SHAME. |
Thank God -- some of us have sense and care about our dogs and their pups. There are so many people who will just never never never learn that it is criminal, inhumane, and totally stupid to breed such sweet innocent little dogs. And, what gets me most of all is that they are stupid enough to come on this forum and say that they're doing it. Are they nuts!!!!!! I am just so afraid that there will never be anything we can do to stop this cruel practice. It just keeps happening over and over again. And - some of these people have a lot of posts and have been around for a while. They should know better! There!!!! That's my meanest post - and I'm proud of it!!! So much for not critizing others! I'm not just critizing one person. I am critizing everyone out there who does this! Carol Jean |
