HELP! Are my newborns yorkies? 1 Attachment(s) Please help...I have both a female and male yorkie, neither spayed or neutered, and my female had 2 beautiful puppies a week ago today..the puppies however do not look like typical newborn yorkie pictures I have seen..is it possible my female was impregnated by a dog other than my male?? The newborns have black muzzles? |

I have to agree with Kendra...they are cute though! |

I seen a litter of yorkies just like those the breeder called them gold/sable and both mom and dad were yorkies. hugs, |

What do the mother and father look like maybe you could post a picture of them.... |

DNA them BEFORE you try to register them with AKC.......you certainly do not want to be selling/ giving away babies as purebred Yorkies, that in fact, are not, because somewhere down the line, someone will be breeding these babies, having mixed puppies, and turning around selling THOSE puppies as purebred..............did you actually SEE your own two dogs tie????? Was your female running loose, in heat, with a multitude of other males??????? If you have ANY question in your mind, and clearly you do, that these babies are NOT out of two purebred Yorkies, you need to stop the cycle right here. Have them DNA'd. |

Yeah, I guess the question is..was your unspayed female ever around any other male? cute as a button, btw ;) |

If you only have a male a female yorkie,I dont understand how that could have happened  No,the puppy is not a yorkie. We´re missing a huge chunk of the story here. How would another male get to her? Did you let her off of her leash and out of your sight? Did you know she was pregnant? I dont know what to say because I dont know what happened and you dont seem to know either which confuses me.When you say "could the father be another dog?",I dont know how that could be,because you havent said so. I have 2 yorkies, male and female, both intact, and I cannot imagine for the life of me in what case scenario something like that could happen without me knowing about it  First of all,if she was in heat and she ran away (just in case that´s what happened),you should have taken her to the vet once you got her back and had her spayed right away, because unfortunately, when a female in heat runs away, she ALWAYS comes back pregnant. With toy breeds you have to be EXTRA careful, because what if the father was a bigger dog? What if he has health issues? Her life wasin danger, and with the pregnancy and birth out of the way, there are now just more mixed pups to find homes for :( |

yep, and they are AKC parents and puppies, I can testify to the birth because I WAS there assisting in their birth, now I can't testify to the REAL origin of the parents but I did see the paper work on them, I was VERY surprised too.. never seen one, seen chocolates, seen blues but that was MY very first sight of a gold/sable.. and I KNOW they were registered with AKC , saw the paper work too.. so to each their own and to AKC too.. hugs, |

Oh boy, lets see a female and male Yorkie, neither spayed or neutered...WHY? I think your the one who should be able to answer, was your female around any other dogs? If so, then a male most certainly could have impregnated your female, they don't much care if the bitch belongs to some other male...eiyieyie.... |

At this point I know that I would only go with someone I know, I accept without prejudiced that some things can always go wrong.....blah, blah, blah... |
