Anyone else's yorkie doing this??
 
Hi, I was just commenting to my DH that when Princess Sophie falls asleep in my arms, she first throws her head way back allowing me to rub her neck, which is no big deal but then she falls asleep like that. I can't imagine it's comfortable. What I usually do is fold her into her blanket and put her in her crate & close the door. She doesn't stay that way once she's in her crate, it just looks very strange. She likes her crate and even drags toys in there. She just looks so uncomfortable with her head thrown back like that? Just curious if anyone else's pup does anything like this. I wish I had a pict to show but it's hard to take a pict when I'm holding the puppy. LOL

I know what you are talking about Honey has always done this. I think it is so funny. All I do is move my arm under her head and she does back to sleep.

Yep Jack and Izzy do that too. Must be another one of those Yorkie traits that make them so endearing to us.

Cali does that too - she climbs up into my area then just drops her head back - if I didn't catche her she would fall over :D

My previous Yorkie used to do the same thing.

Callie loves sleeping like that but only if its me holding her she did it a lot as a puppy. I love it, its so sweet! :)

Katie Scarlett has done this as well. I agree, it looks very uncomfy! Lol :)
