I have been a member for some time now, but never formally introduced myself. Below is a picture of my lils, those girls are the love of my life. I never thought I can love someone other than my boys so much.

This forum has been amazing, I have met some incredible people that without even meeting me in person have been so kind and gentle to me. I wanted to thank those of you that have extended their hearts to me.

In December I lost my mom. She had Alzheimer's, my father was her care taker. She walked out of the house and somehow ended up on the Turnpike and was struck by a car. She passed instantly and I can only pray that in her beautiful mind she was walking down a field of flowers and didn't even realize what happened. My hopes are to move closer to my dad now, I live about 1/2 hour away from him and work about 1 1/2 hours away from my home but moving closer we can support him as much as we can, after spending over 60 years with my mom I know each day is even more difficult for him than for me.

I'm not as active as before because even before when I would log in I would take everyone's sorrow's and worries to heart and now well I'm a bit fragile and try to only come in to see happy posts but I can't help from reading the others and praying for whoever needs God's hand.

Well, I just wanted to thank everyone and hopefully on the 15th I can make my donation so that we all can continue to have another place to call home.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know she is watching over you and your Dad. To share 60 years with someone is amazing and her spirit is still there with him I am sure. I will pray for both of you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. Nothing takes the pain away, but always we have the sweet memories of our time with our lost loved ones. I hope things settle down and your move is successful.

I am very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you are going through right now but I am glad you have reached out to us. I pray for your Dad, that he will find peace, and for you that you will have the support you need to go through this very difficult time. I can't speak for others but I'm glad you found your way to YT! If you own a yorkie, you have to be a special person. Blessings.

I'm so sorry about the tragic loss of your mother. I'm sure your father will appreciate any time you can give to him at this stage of his life. Hopefully you can comfort each other during this difficult time.
