Moving looking for new Vet We will be moving close to Myrtle Beach South Carolina in March, I am looking to find a great vet for my two yorkie furkids and poodle any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice, Gabby, Charlie and Einstein's mom. |
Sorry I can't help you. Maybe someone else can. Good luck in your move |
One place that sometimes helps to check is Yelp.com - I've seen some good feedback about vets on that site. Plus, it's local to wherever you need it to be. Also, just google a vet in general - sometimes you get testimonials that way too. |
Thank you for the info |
I'm from Myrtle Beach! Just moved away last year. I never owned a pet while I lived there, but I did do a project in high school about local businesses and I got to shadow the director of ops at Arc Animal Hospital. They're in Surfside which is still basically in Myrtle Beach. They were all very friendly and I saw them catering more towards smaller dogs. So that's all I can help with. I'm gonna ask on my facebook (all my Fb friends are from Mb) who they use for a vet. Welcome to YT!! |
Thank you for that info and checking with your friends, its just scary trying to find a new vet had used the one I had for years and was very happy with them. Thanks again |
Possibly ask your for a recommendation they may know? Just an idea since you like your vet. |
I don't know any vets in Myrtle Beach so I can't help you, but I do love the area. Where are you moving from? We have been considering buying property there to share with my aging parents. In a perfect world they could live there in the winter and we'd use it in the summer. Possibly rent it out now and then, but my Dad wouldn't want strangers in a place he lives in. This is off topic, but I'd love to know how you narrowed down where to buy? There must be so many neighborhoods, but all I know about is the beach and tourist areas. I don't even know where to start and it's hard to get away for long because I have a skin who is not legal to drink, but is college age. The odds of a party happening in my house are too high to leave it alone with him....Once he's 21 I'll feel better. Having my furbaby Maggie sure is a stress reliever. Always good for a cuddle and a hug! Enjoy your new life in MB, I'm jealous. I'm sure you'll get a chance to meet neighbors with pets who can give you a good reference. Meanwhile, just be sure to have the number of a vet for an emergency. |
