arghh Don't you hate it when people try to scare or yell at your furbaby. Jasmin gets scare easily and people are always trying to scare her or they will tell her to go to them only to yell at her...i just hate it. Leave my baby alone! Thanksfor letting me vent. Just needed to get that out of my system. |

I have never understood anyone who gets pleasure from hurting the feelings (or worse) of any living being. Inducing fear is horrible. Is this someone you know or just twits you meet when out and about? Vent away, I'd be pissed if anyone picked on my dog. |

Thankfully, I have not encountered anyone trying to scare them. Like Heather said they would be in for it if anyone did!! |

Where on earth is this behavior happening? I've never come across anyone that did that or attempted to do that to my dogs. I'd be very concerned being around that type of person! |
Tufty was on his second walk outside with me and Teegy and a total nutter I've seen before walks straight up to us and starts screaming. I've seen this lunatic (totally normal looking well maintained woman) do this to other dog owners before. Didn't see her approach as I was more focused on my dogs. Well, 1. I'm Scottish and 2. She won't be doing that to anyone again. |

I have the problem of strangers in the street thinking its ok to yell or shout rat at my dog. Mainly men trying be macho I think, but its so annoying when your just trying to go for a walk! Don't know why they thinking big or clever to yell at a small dog and a pup at that. :confused: |
Where is this happening at? You need to keep her away from those people also if people are calling her to them to yell at her she will learn not come when called. |

I have to do that when the grandkids come to visit, and the adults give me a hard time about it. I stick it out though, bc the kids are too young yet and the adults just don't get it. But I am not going to risk having a child accidentally kick or fall down on top of one of my dogs, or harrass them. the little boy came to the door the other day and stood there barking at one of mine, and I asked him not to do that as it was upsetting the dog and she was barking back at him. I tried to explain that it is not nice to do that to any dog, and that a dog may bite him. Well his mom jumped all over me for saying something to him, he was just playing, and went off in a huff. I can't fix stupid (although I do try, lol), but I can protect my dogs. |
