Thanks Ann (Wylie'sMom) for the idea! 2 Attachment(s) I have been using the sections of a plastic play yard to confine the girls in one half of my bedroom. I am in there all the time with them unless I go out. Since I have new carpet in my bedrooms and they aren't 100% trained I wanted a way to protect the carpets. So I put down sheet vinyl in the walk in closet, (their girl cave) and 1/2 of my bedroom carpet. They have access to the bed, 1/2 the room and the walk in closet and a window to look out of. I almost kill myself at least once a day stepping over the gated areas. So Ann mentioned in a thread about gates that she uses wire closet shelving. I went to Home Depot and got a 4' x 12 inch piece for the door and a 8' x 12 inch piece to separate the bedroom. It worked great, looks better and I won't kill myself stepping over it. My girls do not jump at all so the 12 inch high ones worked out great. Thanks Ann. |
Hey Patti, That's a cute and safer idea. I'm glad it works for you.:) |
I like that idea too!! It would work for the bedrooms that I don't want Jada and Bogie to go into during the day. We like to leave the doors open for heat flow...they wouldn't jump over those wire shelving things. I use my expen sections to block the doors now. They are a pain to move every morning and evening. |
Great idea.... Your lucky that yours do not jump over them. My crew would be over those in a minuite ! |
What a great set up :) You are lucky you don't have jumpers. Couver used to climb out of his ex pen... He would totally jump over 12 inches of a barrier lol... Glad you found something that works for you! |
This is a great idea. I may have to ask permission to use it too? Please?? |
Cute idea!! But I have mini kangaroos!! I can hardly keep Mack from jumping a 2 1/2 foot baby gate! But love it if it works for you!! |
I love that idea. Going to visit Menard's this week and look into the wire closet shelving for the bedroom. Tired of the baby gates |
