Size of yorkie My yorkie, Charlie, is 14 weeks old today and weighs 5-1/2 lbs. is this the norm for wight and age? Thanks. (I'm new and I hope I'm posting this right!) |
From the sound of it Charlie will be what we jokingly call a teapot here on YT (More than the standard of 7the lbs) more to love in my opinion :D Welcome to YorkieTalk! Oh...btw, I noticed you have another thread going on this same topic. I'm guessing it "disappeared" on you? It's not you, it' YTs way of making sure you're not spamming the forum & after you've posted a bit you'll be able to see your posts right away. |
Welcome to YT! Your 14 week old weighs more than my 9 1/2 month old. Yeah, that's a bit above standard but we have many many yorkies that are above standard on weight. They are all so unique in each of their own ways. Would love to see a pic of your Charlie :) |
Yea, he's going to be a Fuzwhopper ! Lots of exercise, good food and Mother Nature will do it every time. There's a LOT of our guys here that are "oversize", and we'll be looking forward to your application for Charlie, in the YT Teapot Club before long ! ;) YT Teapot Club Thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...apot-club.html |
