Bad Haircut 1st I should not have & will never again but decided Max needed a cut b4 he went to vet for netured bc he can't be bathed for 2 weeks. Besides nicking :( my baby, I made a mess. I shook the towel with hair outside & now when he goes to potty he won't leave it alone! Why? BTW he is still beautiful to me and is getting lots of spoiling bc his Mommy feels so bad @ it. |

Best wishes on his upcoming neuter. PS I think you posted this in the wrong Forum. This Forum is for Yorkies who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. You will get more responses if you post in the general section. |

I know after Buster gets his haircut I have to clean up all the leftover hair or he is eating it. I have no idea why though? |

Huey does the same, then he ghaks and hacks and chokes...who knows why they do that:confused: |
Alfie tries to chew up the matts I comb out, ugh. |
When Buster was a puppy we started saying his middle name was "Leave It" as he was always into everything. |
Izzy does the same with Jack's hair though... I cut Jack's hair and Izzy tries to eat it. |
what is Rainbow Bridge? |

Just go on line and look up grooming a Yorkie. Get some tips from that. If you are really careful you can scissor their fur and keep it somewhat nice until the groomer comes over. My boys are shaggy now because it is so cold I don't want them too short. Plus I put a sweater on JoJo and Spud which messes up their fur. Fur grows very fast , just wait and not feel bad, you probably did a good job. Dogs don't care like we do. They just want to be loved and played with and fed. What a life! |

Well, you were wise to give him a bath before his surgery. Sorry you nicked him while trying to trim him. Do you have some little round tipped scissors to trim him with? I find they are so much safer to use, especially in the danger zones. |
