Puppy's going to be so hyper the next few days. Brrrrr. Baby it's cold outside. With cold temperatures and a wind chill of - 16 C today and-23 tomorrow, looks like Wallee won't be going for his walks for a few days. That means I am going to have one hyper puppy at nights, waking up in the wee hours of the morning and with more play indoors probability of more pee accidents. :( |
Same weather here in Iowa! Below zero temps.......Yesterday Teeka thought it was too cold to do anything. She preferred to snuggle with me under the blankets! I  my snuggle bug! |
Now THAT Is Cold!!!! Do you use pee pads? If not Can you throw one down? You could even walk him over to it to go potty. |
Brr! That is chilly! Poor Wallee! I was thinking a potty pad by the door?? But I am not the best to answer this one. KS is pad trained only. She will go outside if we are playing or on a walk, but otherwise she uses the pad. |
Wow! That is collld! Just give him extra ball chasing time or something. Work on teaching him new tricks. That will use his mind as well as give him some physical exercise. May help. Can't hurt. :) |
I hear you...my babies were at the babysitters last night and im on my home to get them. My car temp says -9F without windchill...im sure r n r were not being cooperative for the babysitters in going bathroom outside!! :) |
Geez that's crazy cold weather. And here I'm thinking 40 is cold. Actually when it's in the 20's at night when I walk Bailey, then I really think it's cold! |
I get the little 2" Chuckit tennis balls and we play indoor fetch with them especially when the weather is bad. It takes a good half hour to wear her out but it's worth it. I have to put the balls away when we are done or she will chew them. |
Brrr.... that is cold and here I was thinking 22 degrees Fahrenheit with a 9 degree windchill was cold! Jack did not waste anytime this morning or afternoon going potty though... even he thinks its chilly out there. Try to stay warm and I agree with the others, play indoors or try teaching him a new trick. |
See Cindy, that's why I stay in my house...I had no idea it was that freakin cold....-16C... yuck! Too damn cold for me! You are gonna have to play with him to hopefully tire him out! |
Uggh day 2 of no walk Well, it's still freezing here..-23 today with wind chill. Trying to tire out this little one inside even playing fetch is near impossible...:( Sure hope it warms up soon.:p |
It's been frigid cold here for seems like forever with wind temps getting as low as -51F. Yesterday finally got above 0 and felt like a heat wave, but now they're saying another cold front is coming. I'm so sick and tired of it and I swear my dogs are depressed over this long, cold winter. They seem to sleep so much and feel like I do...no energy. I feel so bad for them when they go out to potty and many times they freeze up and I have to run out and rescue them. Enough of this stink'n cold! I can't wait for Spring! |
Wow...a little warmer finally but a huge dump of snow...hehehe Wallee isn't sure if he likes the snow up to his belly. I had to shovel a path to the back yard and the patio for him to have a place to go. |
