We have the Snoozer car seat as well. When it is just me and Katie Scarlett (which is rare) I put it up front. But the majority of the time hers is kept in the back in the middle as well. |
For the most part mine go into the back seat. I can turn the passenger airbag off if I do need to put them in the front seat though. |
Zeus is also in the back. I used to have him behind the passenger seat so I could see him easily if I needed to turn quickly, but he didn't like that. So I moved him to the center for a few months and then switched him back to behind the passenger seat. No problems. :) |
90% of the time back seat but if I'm just taking her to the vet's (only about 8 miles), she'll sit in the front seat. Longer distances, I put her in the back seat passenger side. That way she has an unobstructed view of me and she is more likely to sleep when she can just lookup and see me. |
I wonder if I could turn my air bags off. I will have to check. |
I love the idea of the weight sensor. I will have to make sure the next car has that. I was also wondering how you secure your babies? The seat I have does not have a harness attachment so I tied an extra leash to my car interior and attach that to Buster's Buddy Belt to keep him from flying forward. |
Mina's carseat stays in the backseat,I can not turn the airbag off. If we are just going down the street she is tethered to the seatbelt in front but not in the carseat. This keeps her low and I put the seat all of the way back. This is not done very often,Mina prefers her carseat so she can see out the window. |

You have to be careful of your vehicle if its an older model like 90 prior (you: have tothe special order.. those) otherwise its universal. |
I keep my two in the back in their car seat. It is safer and I usually am driving around with my husband, so I don't have to constantly move it. They can see out the window and love their car seat :) |
