I can't move without Amy up and following me. If I go to the bathroom she is following me and loves to put her paws on the stool seat and watch the water go round and round when I flush. Can't do anything without her with me. My sheltie was the same way and I swear she is in heaven whispering into Amy's ear exactly what to do. LOL |
Lmbooo! How cute are they peeking over the tub? I can't close any doors on them, they'll scratch & whine, paw under the door & sniffing sounds...can't have any privacy in the loo loll! |
My Shadow Charlie would love to go everywhere with me ... I feel bad sometimes, he's sleeping and I have to get up and do something and he wakes up and follows me - even if I don't leave the room!! The worst is when I get my purse to leave home and he runs to my car in the hopes of going with me...:-( and he can't always go - which makes him so sad!! He is my favorite little shadow!! |
OMG too cute! And yes, I have the same problem... if I were to say bath time to Izzy or Jack, they would run the other way. When I walk, I do the "Yorkie shuffle" so as to not step on them because one or the other (sometimes both) are right under my feet. |
Haha my baby does the same thing. If I take a picture in a mirror you will see her like a little ghost pup in the corner just staring. |
Those pics are precious. Having raised five human children, I draw the line at being followed into the bathroom.... everyone needs alone time ya know lol. Bella sits outside the bathroom and waits patiently. When I leave the bathroom she is so excited. She acts like she hasn't seen me in years. True unconditional love.... my doggies are the best!!!! |
If I don't let Amy come with me to the bathroom she sits outside the door and cries until I come back out. Today my husband took me to CVS and she went along for the ride. I got out of the car and he said as soon as I was out of her site she started crying and kept it up till she saw me coming back to the car. So precious. |
They are cute. Yeah they need to be in the middle of it all. When I go to the bathroom, I pull the door to but not all the way. Bailey nudges the door open as if to say: Ok I know where you are, I'll be right outside when you come out. With Natalie, he jumps in her lap. |
Troy is stuck to me like glue. In the shower, he is laying on the bathmat. On the toilet, he is laying on the bathmat. Watching tv, he's extremely close. In the car, the grocery store or anywhere we go, this dog is always with us.:aimeeyork |
so cute! That is the reason why I love yorkies so much, they want to be where you are! |
I have a Yorkie who loves to nap in the tub - minus the water or course. I dont know why he likes this but its one of his favorite places to sleep. Anyhoo, if I take a bath in HIS tub, he stares at me like I have invaded HIS spot. After I am done with my bath, he jumps up and down for me to put him in the tub after the water has drained out - I guess he needs to makes sure I didnt mess anything up. |
O yes honey will come in the bathroom and ball up on my clothes and go to sleep until I get out. She is like my shadow because she is always behind me or on the side of me. |
LOL! yep! those would be mine too! all 3 of them! Can't do ANYTHING by myself anymore!! lol...matter of fact my little man, Bentley, is INSIDE my bathrobe right now...all you can see is his little head!! I love it but, sometimes would just like to have some "me" time!! LOL |
My shih tzu follows us everywhere! We cant use the bathroom in peace haha |
I just took a bubble bath and I have 2 yorkies looking over the edge of the tub! Teeka has to give me kisses to make sure if I am ok. I pretty much go nowhere with out my "yorkie" shadows! This is why, I chose a yorkie, for its companionship, devotion and unconditional love! :aimeeyork |
So true deb |
Last night I was giving Carley a bath and Joey just had to be nosey and almost laugh at her while she was getting her scrub on. So I took him next to the kitchen sink and gave him his bath. Carley doesnt have to be blow-dried but he does...and she let out this "ha" as he was frantically trying to escape the evil hair-drier LOL. They are just like skin kids! |
haha! i went for my bath last night too and miss sadie did the same darn thing everywhere i go my yorkies are right at my heals too.lolol |
Yes! Every where you go...they must watch you. Mia is only 12 weeks but insist on following me to the bathroom every single time. Sometimes I try to go when she's sleeping on the couch but right before I'm about to close the bathroom door...here comes Mia full force running in the bathroom! Gotta love them though ;-) the worst is when you don't realize they are right there and you step on them :-( |
They are so stinking cute! I love that picture! |
1 Attachment(s) I was on my computer but something pushed it out of the way to make room for a belly rub...:dogzzz: |
When Sam is in his ex-pen, he cries every time I go out of his sight. This morning I took him into the bathroom with me while I showered. He cried when he couldn't see me through the curtain, even though I was less than 2 feet away. He laid between my feet with his favorite toy while I got ready. The only time he moved was when I turned the hair dryer on (I'm trying to get him used to the sounds before I give him his first bath.) Otherwise, I can't go anywhere in the house without him right on my heels! |
Tee hee! What a familiar site! Katie Scarlett thinks she has to be everywhere I am at all times. She is very attached and I know it's mainly my fault. Being a stay at home wife, she is with me all the time. She has never known any different than to be right with her Mommy. She whines when I make her stay and not follow me. |

Guess I should have put this in my earlier post but I am really looking forward to having Princess Sophie follow me around. Our schnauzer, Hansel, pretty much finds a spot under the dinning room table to keep an eye on traffic (that's a spot that has a good view of most of the downstairs). If I go upstairs to my sewing room, he may come up to look in once but will settle on the stair landing till I leave the room. He doesn't really seem to "need" our presence even though he does want to be part of the fun. Maybe Princess Sophie will get him up and moving around more (he's 8 yrs. old) and I'm sure that would be better for him as well. Then, taking them both for walks will be fun as well. I can also reinforce training with Hansel while I am training Sophie! I am just so very excited to begin this process and look forward to having my baby want to keep me company where ever I am. Just sayin!! LOL |
Diane- That's truly one of the reasons I love R n R. I definitely am owned by them!! Im never alone and I always have "help" whether I ask for it or not. I would be lost w out my girls!! I think you will love having a yorkie in your life! |
