Warning: I am sorry to be a downer, but there are many, many, many scams like this on craigslist. Get the phone number, google it etc., don't invite them to your home until you are sure they are who they are. Sorry, but I would ask to meet them at your vets where you can all go in together for a checkup and your vet can vouch for your integrity. I know many folks who have done it this way.

I agree there are many scams on craiglist be careful

I don't know why anyone would want to re-home a cute happy healthy dog like that. It could be a scam but you certainly should check into it if you seriously want another dog. There are some people on YT that have gotten Yorkies on Craigslist but probably more have found scams than dogs.

I say look into it if you think Jasmine would be okay with it. I like the suggestion of meeting them at the vet. Tread cautiously but don't lose the opportunity if you truly are wanting another.

Make sure you think of the financial side before decided on a second dog. Twice the medical bills including emergency's, twice the food, twice the treats, twice everything.

Thanks for everyone's input. I emailed the person but have not heard back. You guys are right about the scams. Dh has been scammed once before on Craigslist. We got jasmin from Craigslist too. We are lucky she is healthy. Will update if I hear back.

She is cute and my answer would be yes. But as some others have said, check the person out before you invite them to your house.
