weight I know there are many variables in predicting the weight of ayorkie. My Silas 9 weeks and weighs 2.0lbs what o u think he might weigh when, hen grown |
I think rule of thumb is to triple the weight at 8 weeks double at 12 weeks for close to adult age. |
My baby was 2 1/2 pounds at 12 weeks and now at 1 year weighs a Lillie over 5 1/2 pounds. |
Two pounds is a good size for a 9 week old puppy. Have you seen the parents or other offspring of the parents at adulthood? Puppies can grow at different rates of speed. Knowing the background of the parents can help you to know what the size at maturity may be. |
Sounds like a nice weight to me at that age. Probably should weigh in at just under 6 lbs full grown. Of course that also depends on how much they like to eat. |
