hair by yorkie eyes I want Honey hair to grow long by her eyes. I normally get them to cut the hair by her eyes when she gets groomed. Well now that I havent cut the hair it looks like its in her eyes. What should I do to I want have to cut it any more? |
I have never cut Kyra's and it still has those shorter pieces that get in her eyes. Funny I was just telling DH when you posted this that I think I may cut them because they drive me nuts hiding her eyes lol. Hopefully someone will have a good suggestion, I have tried topnot gel and sprays they still fall after a bit. |

Yes they do. It is a really sticky gel so takes very little and lasts forever. Works great for all the rest of the topknot but Kyra loves to rub hers on the edge of the sofa so hence the shorter hairs back in the eyes. |
Eventually the weight of the hair and the length will keep it down. Jenny, YT member mimimoma, sells the greatest comb for the face @toplinepet.com. It's a Madan mustache comb, but it works amazing for combing the hair on the face, and its so much safer to use around the eyes. She has such great customer service. I also have other Madan combs that I got from her and a Madan brush. If you constantly work to train the hair, it should work. I groom Katie's hair myself, but years ago a groomer cut the hair by the eyes on my three girls, and I was miserable until it grew back. I am a nut about hair in the eyes. Those little hairs take a really long time to grow out. I have not had success with gels. Once they dry the hair bounces up again. You could try trimming the most annoying hairs with some small round tipped scissors. Just trim a little though. If you start trimming a lot you will have to do it frequently. |
The hair that is in Honey eye doesnt seem to bother her but it is to short to fit in her clip. I know It will tak a minute for it to grow out because I always use to keep it cut short. I might try the gel and see if it works. I relly hope It does. |
I worry about hair in Hueys eyes because his dam had bad cherry eye problems. I keep his hair trimmed in a visor over the eyes and I use the clippers between the eyes to keep it short. |
