One week old today "BIG SURPRISE"!!!
 

Just wanted to tell you all the Peyton's Puppies are ONE WEEK OLD today. They are doing GREAT and getting FAT!!

This has been one of the hardest weeks that I have had.
I have not got very much sleep and feel like I am the mother of 5 puppies and not just one dog. She is a very good mother loves them babies too death. But needs me all the time, when one of the babies is on the other side of the box and is crying, Peyton starts to cry because she wants you to get the baby and bring it back to her. Well we give in and do it. It is like to does not know how to pick the puppy up.
Plus the food part, Peyton has not been a big eater but now is loves food but it has to be in the cage with her and the babies......not out side of the box but in it.
To funny on how dogs are when they know they can pull one over on you.

Now on to the funny thing that I find out today, I have been telling people that I have 3 boys and 1 girl. Well today I had two girls come to my house and put a deposit down on the puppies and find out that I have :aimeeyork 2 GIRLS :aimeeyork and 2 BOYS.................How did that happen. Then when I took that puppies to do the tails, the Vet. Told me and wrote down 3 boys and 1 girl. So see that is something that he did not look at right too.

Just don’t know how this happened but it did.

Ha ha that is so cute and funny. Yea I have a boy and a girl and I dont know how you all can tell what they are when they are little.

I hope you get some sleep soon! That's funny about the 2 females!

What a shocker!! Well two of each is just great! That poor little girl that was deemed a boy..I hope she doesnt have psychological problems when she gets older!! hehehe :) I am glad (spoiled) mom and babies are doing well!! I say when you push things out of big holes you should be spoiled...rotten!!!

Better line up a good dog therapist now...that little girl/boy is gonna have gender issues... :D

Well I was right about the boys, but the girls thing canlook just like a boy too.

I think that she is going to need help, because of the name that my son is picking out, CHEWY. I have told him that he is onlonger a boy BUT A GIRL....and he still thinks that she should be a chew and he is 6 years old. What do you tell a 6year old, that is going on 16.....

I think that the mother is going to need to psychological problems too. Plus I dont think that SPOILED is the word...........Cant think of the word now, but will find it soon.

It is like I have a new baby and doing this all over with a DOG.........I told my husband that the baby that we have now was much better then my dog.........I have a 11 month old and still nurse him. So getting up at night is a on going thing with the baby and the dog.

I know I have a 5 year old that is going on 16. They can be quite determined. She decide our female was going to be Jewels and that is the only name she would consider. Lucky enough Jewels isnt too bad of a name for a female.

I do have a 8 year old going on 21 and the name that she has FOR EVER THING is SALLY..............I have three animals in this house named SALLY. I think that I would like Jewels over SALLY.

So glad to hear they are doing well. It's amazing how chubby they can get in such a short time. My two litters will be one week old tomorrow. Love having babies in the house again.

Wait until they start running around, then the fun really begins.
