Oh my goodness, your babies are all so tiny! I would love to see some pictures of them! |
Tibbe is 5 1/2 and weighed 5.3 lbs. when he was at the vet in December. He had blossomed to a bit over 6 but we worked it off with walks and decreased meal sizes as he gets his kibble during the day for treats and he'd been doing a lot of things to cause him to "ask" for treats and get them this fall and it finally all added up. It's just about right for his 9" height and he's 9 or 9 1/2" long, depending on where the tape hits. |
Oh my goodness, this thread took on a life of its own. Now that it's back on track, Zoë is 3 pounds 2 ounces at 28 weeks. I am hoping she'll reach 5 or 6 pounds fully grown. Vet said he doesn't think she'll be more than 4 unless overweight :( |
Milo is 7 lbs and he was a year old in July. |

What did you chart to be, Lynzy? :yelrotflm Sorry...this thread just got way too serious...had to drag it down another notch...:p:D |
Wow...the breed standard is 4-7lbs. Mine is 2.2lbs (probably soaking wet) at 12 weeks. She's looking like the runt of the litter and will probabyl be around 4.5-5lbs as an adult. |

As long as he is healtly I could care less about size and to be honest I think I love him being as big as he is BUT now that I said that my little girl will end up a super tiny little thing :p:rolleyes: |

Foxy is almost 7 and weighs around 5 lbs... |
Veggienut...don't worry about it. "Weight" does not make a beautiful dog. A beautiful dog makes a beautiful dog. Enjoy your dog for the love it freely gives....and love your dog back for the love it wants and needs from you. |

Remy was charted to 3 1/2 pounds.. she is 5.25 lbs now at 3years old. I was very happy when she reached over 4, her body structure needed the weight. |
When Gracie was a year old she was a skinny fragile looking little thing. I felt much better when she put some weight and muscle on her body. I was always afraid she was going to hurt herself before that. She had no idea how little she was and was always doing scary feats of daring. She is still little but at least she has some padding now and thankfully she has given up her acrobatic act. |

Well, in the last couple of weeks Teeka had a growth spurt....she is now weighing 3.7 lbs. I guess that is small compared to some other yorkies. I have 2 foster yorkies that are 11 lbs. & 7 lbs. She is small compared to them! Small with a big personality, that is! |
Blazer is 7 months and has been holding steady at 6 lbs with the same length and height for a few months now. I hope he is done growing, he seems perfect as he is now! =) |
Lexi weighs about 5 pounds. She is one year and about 3 months. I think she is the size she's going to be! |
Minnie is 1yr and 5 months old she was born 8/5/2011 she weighs 3.1 pounds. I noticed she gained weight ever since i had her spayed, is that normal? she got fuller and a little heavier. she is still tiny though lol... |

thanks for that info. i only feed her 1/4 of a cup a day and she finishes it. im sure if i gave her more she would eat it all but i dont want her to be overweight either. i will ask the vet next time i take her in. she had her first heat cycle then got spayed. i believe it was in sept or october i have to look at her paper work. |
