WOW...I have 2 girls that I spend all my time with and they don't lack for attention at all... and they've done the same thing as cheryl000's yorkie did - Yorkies are by nature very busy... and to hear one is just perfect is amazing to me

I have to agree, there is no such thing as a perfect yorkie, just like there are no perfect people. We just need to work on the bad behaviors with patience and repetition, and eventually we will have well mannered pups. However, they will ALWAYS be mischieveous! That is truly part of their charm.

Wow... I am really shocked that you have a perfect yorkie. You can't believe that my yorkie tears up paper, well I have a hard time believing that your's is perfect will not tear paper up, or has not had an accident in the house. I don't think that my dog's "bad behavior" is a reflection on me. But the fact that she's a puppy. I don't even think it's possible to spend more time with her. I'm always with her. It's just that she has fun tearing up paper. If she has a choice she will do that over playing with a toy or chewing on a bone. She is very driven and smart. I really think that this whole thing has kind of been misconstrued. I am not complaining about her behavior, stuff happens. I can't force my husband to love something that he doesn't want to. It's not like she is locked in her xpen all day. She is only in there at night or when we're not home. Otherwise she's playing with me or my son or out in the yard playing. She even has Bailey to play with. She's not bored. I think she's a very happy dog.

I really don't like the direction the thread is going. I'm senstive when it comes to Brandy and that some people think that her behavior is the result of something I've done in raising her. I do my best with her. She's just a baby and I'm not strict with her when she does go potty in the house because of that reason.
I think the fact that this has gotten so many pages people are starting to only pick through what they want read and are trying to draw conclusions from that instead of reading everything. This thread isn't for showing off how wonderful your dog is vs mine. I'm starting to feel a little put down. To me she is the best in the world with her little quirks. My husband is the one who is easily annoyed with her. And I think my husbands probably really stems from a bad relationship with his father. If anyone has a husband who doesn't love their dog nearly as much as they do, please pm me. Otherwise I think I'm finished with this thread because it has gotten too long and people aren't reading everything. I'm just going to hide the ornament, fix it, then put it out next year. Maybe he will be more tolerant of her then. Thanks for everyone who has read everything and really understands what's going on and has given advice. Suz, your post helped alot since you know John and I. I really don't think it will come down to Brandy having to find a new home, but if something bad ever happened, I know you would be the best place for her. Thanks again.

Bless you.....It is very apparent you love your Brandy very much. It's a shame to feel so divided. I hope you find the answers soon so you can enjoy Brandy to the fullest. I think Brandy as most puppy's is just being a puppy. It takes time for her to grow up.

wow, now I am sobbing. you don't know my husband and you never will. He doesn't love the dogs and I can't force him to. I don't want to ever post anything here again. my husband knows that dom and I would be upset if he got rid of the dog. and he has never made me chose between them. He tries to convince me to give them up. but I don't want to.
