I haven't seen her in over 4 months... Back in August I reunited with my boyfriend of 3 years, although we had not seen each other/been together for a year and a half.. it was supposed to just be a vacation to reacquaint and figure things out, but it ended up more permanent. So I didn't take my little Lolli with me, because it was just a vacation. She stayed with my mom while I have been away. And I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to see my little girl. I miss her SOOOOOOOOO much I just feel a part of me is missing. So my mom was told officially that she had to be out of her rental by Feb 1st, 2013 so guess what?? She has opted to move up here to GA so now I have a way to get my baby back!!! I'm happy to see my mom too :) I am soooooo excited to see my little Lolli and have her back in my arms. I'm going to spoil that little darling so so much. I didn't mean to leave her, and she's been well taken care of. But I'm living in a place she could not come to. But never again will I go to a place she cannot follow!!!! I almost couldn't stand it. Counting the days.:luvu: I'm doing a :happyboun over here!! Best Christmas present ever to know I'll have her back forever. :love-hug1 We need a smiley that has a person hugging a doggie! Has anyone else had to temporarily be separated from their fellow furry loved one/s?! How did they react seeing you after so long?? |
I once had to leave my dog for 2 months while I went to a new state to start a new job. I went up there with no place to live or anything because the job was so good that I knew a few months of hardship would pay off (and it did). But for that time, I left my dog with my mom. I was crying every night because I missed her so desperately. I can totally relate with how you are feeling. You get 2 for the price of 1 now...your baby and your mom. How exciting! :) |

I was so worried that she wouldn't be as attached to me anymore...that she would be attached to my mom and it would take her some time to get back to how we used to be. NOPE! lol As soon as I walked in the door of my mom's house, she looked up and stared for a second or two and then came running to me and it was like I was never gone :) |
Aww thats so cute. I leave my pup for work and hes so excited when I walk in the door so I can just imagine your reunion!! So cute!!! |
That's sooo heartwarming to know! Maybe she won't have forgotten me. I don't know how long or short doggie memories are. But maybe my voice on Skype has kept me in her mind? :) Thanks joeyyyy!! I have been daydreaming since I found out! LOL |
