What bowls? I don't even know if there is an answer to this. Bailey just doesn't like to eat or drink from his bowls. He had some ceramic ones and we also bought some metal ones. I find he'd rather eat his kibble from a plate over a dish. And sometimes it seems we have to lead him to water. Are there better bowls than others? We're going to head up to PetSmart shortly to see what's out there. But thought I throw it out here and see what you guys have. Thanks! Ron |
Mandie hates sticking her head in bowls. She will eat from a saucer plate and/or a very wide mouth and shallow soup bowl. Try something like that :) |
We use glass and sometimes paper plates for food. If not I'd use stainless steel, then ceramic, then plastic. |
When we changed to glass bowls for water, my boys started drinking a lot more. I found the bowls in the cooking section of some store. They are the little ones often used for custard or measuring out ingredients when cooking. We use both stainless steel pet dishes and ceramic plates for food. |
I bought raised feeders with stainless steel bowls for sterilization. I use glass for meats a lot now since we are feeding raw-I too got them at a kitchen store. |
I use stainless steel for both food and water dishes. I found some that aren't quite as deep that are made for cats and they work great for not allowing the long hair to get in the bowl. Maybe those would work for members who have dogs who don't like to stick their head in a bowl. |
