I wasn't sure where to even post this new thread at... but every time I use Yorkie talk chat no one else is there!!

Even after it says you're connected and everything. It never fails. No matter what chat room I go into no one else ever responds back.

I'm kind of wondering if there is a problem on my end or if the chat on this website just doesn't work???

Super confused.

I got on it once awhile ago. I don't even know if most people know about it. Don't worry no one responded to me either lol

Several years ago there was a fairly large group of YTers who were "regulars" in the chatroom every night and there were many more who would drop in from time to time. It was a magical time on YT - and the chatroom was a time filled with laughter, wit, tears, a few "cat" fights and a couple of out and out flame wars :lol tears

One member chatted with us through the early to mid stages of labor and after we convinced her to head to the hospital, she chatted with us from her hospital bed. We helped many a member through the grief of losing a furkid or skin family member, through illnesses, and depression. I will always be thankful to the YT chat family for their support to me while I was recovering from my horrible 4-wheeler accident back in 11/07.

It was really neat 'cause ADMIN would pop in and chat - that was always a special treat. Big sigh.... I miss those "good ole days" at YT.

YT has changed over the years and some things just aren't the same. Nobdy seems to want to anymore.

Sounds like the new members of YT are sure missing out =( .... I wish that YT chat was still like that.

It was a special time in YT history. I'm sure we can recapture the magic if enough people really want to. The Chat Pack got pretty close - anyone who joined in the fun became an official member :D and those of us who were regulars got to know a lot about each other -- sometimes way too much :rolleyes:.

LOL. It seems to be cyclical. There was a chat resurgence about a year ago. We've organized chat sessions before and broken the YT record on a couple occasions.

One of the most fun times we've had is the occasional YT fundraiser raffle. People donate stuff, raffle tickets are sold with proceeds going to YT, and the winning numbers are drawn and announced in the chat room. It's a laugh a minute.

That was a good time. Only every saw that done once since I have been a member :(.
