If you're in NY please read this. Possible free Yorkie. Im not sure if its spam but I found this ad on the "free" section of craigslist. I would hate for someone to take this pup just because he's "free". The chances of going to a good home are slim when people just give away their dogs like that. If the ad is real, I hope someone can take this little bundle of joy into their home and take good care of him. Yorkshire terrier |

Aww I wish I was ready for one now. It saddens me that people get dogs and as soon as a life situation happens they are trying to get rid of the dog. Obviously nothing stays the same in life, but it's like people disregard this initially. Pets are expendable to them.:thumbdown |
I've only had Hope since May but I could never just "get rid" of her! I'd keep searching until I found a place that accepted pets. Such a cutie....hope she goes to a good home! |
Oh, I hope he gets a good home. He's not neutered so he may end up in the wrong hands. |

Seems like they were irresponsible all along. Dog they weren't prepared to keep over a move. Selling the dog on craigslist, for free and un altered. Ridiculous. |

I'm not trying to judge people but I often wonder why people say in their ads that they are getting rid of the dog because they are moving somewhere that doesn't allow pets like an apartment complex. Why wouldn't they just pick a spot that allowed pets? It may cost more or be less convenient but you should really factor that in before you get a dog. I'm sure there are some circumstances where the dog really could not be kept but sometimes it seems like little effort is made to keep them. Oh well I guess this stuff happens all the time.. I certainly see it every day on online ads! |
I just clicked on the link and it says it was flagged and removed. |

The link was flagged for removal so I'm assuming it was spam. I'm sorta relieved at this point because now we don't have to worry about rescuing the Yorkie from a potentially dangerous situation. |
