Absent for a very long time .....
 
I have been a member of YT for a very, very long time but circumstances and life sometimes get in the way and you don't check in very often. Toto and I love YT and just want to check in and begin to catch up. On 11/24/11 [Thanksgiving Day] we lost my precious son, Chris, to a massive heart attack. He was my only child and only 49. To those of you that offered sweet condolences, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This past year has been immensely painful but through it all I know to expect lots of sweet little Yorkie kisses before Toto snuggles up next to me and starts snoring! She is so in tune with what goes on around her, it is truly amazing. I thank God every day that I have her in my life ... it's hard to believe that she turned 9 this past July. Here's to catching up on all the beautiful Yorkies .... off to the nursery!! ;)

I didn't know you had suffered through the tragedy of losing your son Chris. I am so very sorry. I know it's a bit late, but I will say a special prayer for you and your family.

I'm relatively new here but I just wanted to say, "Nice to meet you." I'm deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your son. What a horrible ordeal to go thru.

I see you are in Alabama? I am, too..just north of Montgomery. :)

Hello, I am a "newbie" but wanted to say welcome back :D!
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son, I can't even begin to imagine how painful it was/has been for you.
But I am happy to hear your angel gives you lots of kisses and cuddles and that it helps and gives you comfort:).

Bettyeanne, I am so sorry to hear about your only child's loss last year. I was not on YT for a few weeks around that time due to having surgery so I am sorry to say I missed finding out until now. I can't imagine how you must miss him and how hard this time of the year must be. I'm sure glad you have your Toto to love and snuggle with when you need some sweetness. Toto has no doubt been a real lifeline for you.

Welcome back and don't be a stranger now that you are back.

Bettyeanne, It is such a nice surprise to see you here again. I am very sorry you lost your son. It is not something any parent should have to go through. My heart goes out to you. Little Toto will be there for you and I'm glad to know you have that sweet little one to cuddle.

Bettye...It is SO nice to see you and Toto back! I came across the tragic news of you losing Chris on FB and sent you a message. I hope you got it. I have hurt for you ever since seeing that. *HUG* I'm thankful you have your darling Toto to snuggle with and help you through the lonely and sad days. Bettyanne... I do not know you from the past but look forward to getting to know you in the future! I don't get on Yt near as much as I used to either, but really enjoy the people here.

I am so sorry about your son. As a parent myself, I cannot even begin to imagine the loss of one of my children. My heart goes out to you! Bigs hugs and welcome back!
